From our Carmine Appice Drum and Cymbals Collection. This nickel Chinese cymbal was part of carmine’s signature series of Sabian cymbals. The original Chinese made China cymbals that Carmine helped make famous in the 1970s were made from a high nickel content alloy. Sabian used the same alloy in creating a line of Carmine’s signature nickel cymbals. Original Sabian production notes written on white tape are still affixed to the cymbal. It remains in good shape but shows a notable dent, the result of Carmine’s unrelenting accents.
