From the mid 1970s until Elvin's passing in 2004, the Elvin Jones Jazz Machine wore matching, custom made T-shirts onstage. Over the years there were many different band members and many different styles. Virtually every shirt ever made for Elvin and the band were saved and stored. These shirts were never available to the public. These were not "merch" shirts. Most of these shirts were "stage worn" by either Elvin or a member of his Jazz Machine band. The only way to get one of these shirts was to be a member of Elvin's band or to be Elvin himself. These shirts are now available and can be seen below.
