Ringo Starr’s Drumsticks. Signed, Beautifully Framed, $2,995.00
I feel very honored to have been asked to market these limited edition pieces of Ringo Starr’s drum stick memorabilia. This is an actual pair of Ringo Starr’s stage used sticks, framed with a photo of Ringo at the drums with a sample of the custom finish from the set in the photo. Each piece is personally signed by Ringo himself. The Ringo Starr collectible memorabilia pieces are an original limited edition series, each signed and numbered. Only 72 of each design were made. When these are gone there will be no more ever made.
Pairs of Ringo’s used sticks identical to these sold in a recent Julien’s auction for over $7,000 a pair just for the sticks! This makes this beautifully framed and signed package an excellent investment at less than half of that price.
Each piece is 30” x 22” constructed using a museum quality frame, Acid-free Museum quality Matt boards, Acid-free Rag Back, and Museum quality Plexiglas.
Each piece is personally hand signed by Ringo Starr and includes the following.
-A pair of Ringo’s signature drum sticks that Ringo played during a live show.
-A reproduction of the hand-crafted, custom drum finish applied to Ringo’s drums, either the Abalone finish drum kit played by Ringo on the 2006 Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band tour, or the Swarovski Crystal finish drum kit played by Ringo on the 2008 Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band tour.
-A photo of Ringo playing his drums. These photos are only available through Rob Shanahan, Ringo’s personal photographer.
-Certificate of Authenticity signed by Jeff Chonis, Ringo Starr’s personal drum tech for over 26 years.
All sticks were collected by Jeff Chonis from the live Ringo Starr performances. All sticks show obvious signs of use and wear.
A portion of the profits from the sale of these pieces go to Ringo’s Lotus Foundation charity. Initially these had been available for purchase only at live Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band performances with only 2 pieces available per show.
$100 U.S. shipping. I will ship internationally.
Here’s a little secret to help authenticate these sticks. Pro Mark Ringo Starr Signature 5L Model sticks were 16.5″ long and commercially available to the public. The sticks Ringo actually used were a custom made Pro Mark model that was about 1/2 inch shorter than the commercially available stick and only available to Ringo. If you compare these sticks to the commercially available model you’ll see they are in fact about a 1/2 inch shorter.
