In 1991 BB King made a 3 part instructional video series called “BB King: Bluesmaster” for DCI Music Video. Rob Wallis was the president of DCI at the time. He developed a close working relationship with BB and his manager. They went on to produce several more projects together.

In 1995 BB King’s manager presented Wallis with this Gibson Lucille B.B.King model guitar along with an invitation and backstage pass for BB’s upcoming show at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. He was instructed to bring the guitar to the show for BB to sign. BB signed the body of the guitar boldly in gold ink that matches the guitar’s gold hardware.

The guitar has been stored in it’s original case and remains in new, unplayed condition. Included with the guitar are a large collection of items accumulated during the years that Wallis worked with King.
