This old war hero deserves a medal! This was Slingerland’s response to WWll metal rationing. Most of the typical metal parts were re-designed in wood resulting in these extremely unique instruments with their own unique sound. This one probably spent some time in the trenches but emerged relatively un-scathed, just a little crack and some fading in the finish and some rust on the tension rods to show for it. No extra holes or other issues.
