Ludwig/Dunnett – Black Beauty “The Chief” 6.5×14 Prototype, Unique!! One Off!! $2,495.00

This black plated brass shell 6.5×14 proto-type was a great idea that never saw the light of day. It would have been part of “The Chief” series of snares that were made to honor Ludwig top dog Bill Ludwig II after his passing in 2008. This is the only Chief badge Black Beauty ever made. Marked “Proto C Chief” on the inside shell in black Sharpie.

The drum is in excellent condition with no notable issues.
