The Ludwig Top Hat and Cane model is considered by collectors to be the rarest and most sought after production drum set ever made. This 11×7″ tom is in excellent condition and virtually impossible to find. No extra holes. The visible holes are simply from the original tom mount and internal mufflers that have been removed. Original shell mounted drum key holder. The drum is date stamped July 1940. Calf heads, top and bottom. Hardware is gleaming and the seams are tight. Slight yellowing in the finish. Look very close and you can see some slight checking in the white marine finish.

Whether you add the drum to your existing Top Hat set or as a stellar piece of Ludwig historical memorabilia, this drum would be the crown jewel of most drum collections.
