Gretsch Salesman Sample Snare Drum, Unsold $2,599.00

Acquired directly from the Gretsch family collection auction. This salesman sample drum was created for Gretsch salesman to display 8 different finishes on a single drum. This is the only one of these drums that I have ever seen or even heard of. I’m assuming 1990s but not sure as it was never commercially available. 8 lugs with the original heads, snares and sales tags, as well as the auction tags. Excellent, unplayed condition however there is some minor oxidation on the chrome hardware.
