Gallien-Krueger – Tom Hamilton’s Aerosmith, GK 2001RB 1080-Watt Compact Bass Head B (#37) – Authenticated! $3,295.00
We just received about 120 basses, guitars and amps from Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith. Tom is a founding member of Aerosmith. After 50 years in one of the hardest touring bands ever, he’s accumulated so much gear that’s he’s asked us to help put it in the hands of people who can love it as much as he has. This gear has made rock and roll history on the world’s largest stages and most intense studio scrutiny. Now it’s your turn to take it, and make your own rock history.
From the Tom Hamilton Aerosmith Collection.
Tom Hamilton played Gallien-Krueger bass amps paired with Hartke bass cabs live and in the studio with Aerosmith from the late 1990s through the mid 2000s. During this period he played this combination in a variety of configurations. At the heart of every version was a Gallien-Krueger 2001RB Compact Bass Head.
This is one of two identical 2001RBs that Tom used during this period. The amp is housed in a rack “shell” which fit into a custom flight case that carried 3 GK amp heads available separately.
See and hear this amp in action with Tom and Aerosmith in the pics and 1997 and 2002 video below.
Includes a COA signed by Tom Hamilton and is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag.
