From the collection of Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali.
Frankie’s “Go To” Recording Set. This set of 4 Ludwig white marine pearl snare drums accompanied Frankie to most of his recording sessions, notably the 1982 Billy Idol sessions that produced his versions of “Mony Mony” and “Break On Through” with Frankie on drums. Frankie always said “if an engineer can’t find a snare sound he likes in this case, he’s not going to find one anywhere”.
All four drums are original WFL and Ludwig snare drums from the 1950s and 1960s professionally refinished in vintage white marine pearl finish. The drums are all in excellent playing/working condition. The photos depict their condition accurately. The custom 4 slot snare flight case is also included.
Includes a pair of Frankie’s signature Vic Firth Quiet Riot drumsticks.
