Hand signed by Brad Whitford in purple pen. Custom Aerosmith “Get A Grip” logo on the back of headstock plus Brad’s Ernie Ball leather strap. Handmade for Brad Whitford. Used on Aerosmith’s 1993 Get A Grip tour. It can be seen and heard in video below from Aerosmith’s 1993 performance in Pittsburg, PA.

Luthier Paul Iverson met Aerosmith in the late 1980s while the band was recording at Little Mountain studios in Vancouver BC. Before long, Whitford asked Iverson to make him a “Clapton style guitar with Clapton guts”. This resulting guitar is the only guitar that Iverson ever made for Whitford. It originally had a white pick guard which can be seen in a “Guitars Of Aerosmith” feature in the 12/1990 issue of Japanese guitar magazine “Young Guitar”. By 1993, the white pick guard had been switched to black while being used on Aerosmith’s “Get A Grip” tour.

Acquired directly from Brad Whitford. Brad’s guitar tech personally inspected the guitar. He adjusted the neck, polished the frets, oiled the fretboard, sprayed the pots and installed new strings. The guitar is in excellent working condition with no notable issues. The guitar is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag on the headstock. It includes a hardshell case, one of Brad’s custom Aerosmith guitar pics and a certificate of authenticity signed by Brad Whitford.
