Ampeg – Tom Hamilton’s Aerosmith 2007, SVT-210 “Dummy” Amp and Cabinet (#98) – $2,169.00
We just received about 120 basses, guitars and amps from Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith. Tom is a founding member of Aerosmith. After 50 years in one of the hardest touring bands ever, he’s accumulated so much gear that’s he’s asked us to help put it in the hands of people who can love it as much as he has. This gear has made rock and roll history on the world’s largest stages and most intense studio scrutiny. Now it’s your turn to take it, and make your own rock history.
Tom Hamilton started playing Ampeg amps with Aerosmith in the earliest days of the band in the early 1970s and has continued using Ampeg gear through much of the bands 50 year history.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire part of Tom Hamilton’s custom six piece stage bass rig that pumped the bottom into Aerosmith 2007-2010.
The six piece rig was custom designed for Tom and included a total of three SVT 410s, two “Dummy” SVT 210s and a custom B-R15R Portaflex.
This custom made SVT 210 “Dummy” amp is one of two “Dummy” 210s that were added to Tom’s Ampeg rig for visual balance. The clear plastic Ampeg name plate lights up and has tubes and controls just like a functioning amp, but this was just there for looks and does not function. It’s a great piece of Aerosmith history.
Includes a COA signed by Tom Hamilton and is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag.
Acquired directly from Tom Hamilton.
